3 persons suffer bullet injuries in South Kashmir village | KNO

A couple of persons including a 10 year old kid suffered bullet injuries after army allegedly fired upon protesters in Hergam Karimabad area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Reports said that Army had arrived in the village to launch a cordon and search operation after getting inputs about the presence of militants there. As the Forces started their operation, a large number of youth hit to roads and pelted stones on Army.

Eyewitnesses said that army soldiers directly fired upon protesters, a claimed refuted by an official. Hospital sources said they have received three persons with bullet injuries while one of them is a 10 year old girl. “There is chaos and confusion in the hospital,” said an hospital official. Latest reports said that the cordoned has ended. Three persons have suffered bullet injuries. “A large number of people are on roads raising pro-freedom slogans.” he said.
